To celebrate the publication of Be Mine by Lizzy Barber, I sat down with the Lizzy to talk about the inspiration behind her latest psychological thriller, her writing process, and what it was like to return to working together after her debut novel, My Name Is Anna, won the Daily Mail First Novel Competition.

From fictional wellness cults to the intensity of new motherhood, Lizzy shares the secrets behind the book’s twisty structure, emotional depth and suspenseful pacing.

Happy Publication Day to the one and only Sir Michael Caine. I am so proud to have been involved in the creation of the veteran actor’s first thriller, DEADLY GAME, helping him to fulfil a lifelong ambition of writing a novel. Now that Sir Michael has officially retired from acting, it’s wonderful that we still get to enjoy more of his passion and personality and characteristic voice through the written word. Also, publishing his first novel at the majestic age of 90, it just goes to show it’s never too late to start writing!

DEADLY GAME by Sir Michael Caine is out now. Available wherever your purchase your books.

Congratulations to Ali Steed on winning the thriller category in the Best Indie Book Awards 2024.

The annual Best Indie Book Award is an international literary award contest recognizing outstanding achievement by independent authors. Entries are limited to independently (indie) published books, including those from small presses, e-book publishers, and self-published authors.
